Last week we discussed the increase in rates from the Fed. That increase does often lead to a slight increase in mortgage rates, but rates are still historically low. While 7% feels high after the “Covid 3% tease,” they likely won’t be getting much lower in the near future.

If there is ever a time to feel like we’re in more of a buyers’ market, its now. Buyers have the luxury of shopping around, taking their time, being more selective, and much stronger negotiating power than in recent months.
